Born to a Swedish mother and Norwegian father, Busch identifies as both Norwegian and Swedish. Growing up in Gunsta, near Uppsala, she was a lärjunge at the Christian Livets Ord primary school. She later studied the IB Diploma Programme at Katedralskolan in Uppsala, and peace and conflict studies at Uppsala University.
She is a member of the Church of Sweden.

Ebba Busch, mellan och känd som Ebba Busch Thor, egentligen Ebba-Elisabeth Busch,[4] ursprungligen Busch-Christensen, född 11 februari i Gamla Uppsala församling i Uppsala,[5] är en svenskpolitiker (kristdemokrat). Sedan den 25 april är hon partiledare för Kristdemokraterna och sedan även energi- och näringsminister samt vice statsminister (statsministerns ställföreträdare) i regeringen Kristersson.[6][7]
Hon var kommunalråd i Uppsala kommun åren –[8]
Uppväxt
[redigera | redigera wikitext]Busch är uppvuxen i Gunsta utanför Uppsala. Hon gick i Livets Ords grundskola[9], döptes och blev medlem även i församlingen Livets ord[10]. I samband med gymnasiet började hon i Katedralskolan i Uppsala och blev mindre aktiv i församlingen, vilket senare ledde till att hon formellt lämnade sitt medlemskap i Livets ord[10].
Hennes politiska engagemang väcktes av den negativa erfarenhet som hennes mormor haft med hemtjänsten.[11]
Ebba Busch har bedrivit akademiska studier i freds- och konfliktkunskap vid Uppsala universitet[12] och har arbetat fem säsonger som utomhusmålare.[13] – bodde hon i Bryssel och praktiserade (stagiaire) i Europaparla
